Free Telephone Service in |
Most of us here in The Sea Ranch are fortunate to live a more relaxed lifestyle and do not really feel the need to be in touch with the rest of mankind 24 hours a day. We kind of like being able to wander out of the house any time that we want without having a phone call remind us of the real world - at least for a while. A few of our vacation homes have the old fashioned message machine that catches a call when we are not available and we answer it when we get back from the walk on the bluff. Particularly for those who are used to being in touch 24-7 this arrangement might prove to be a pleasant change to your daily routine. |
Internet connectivity in our homes varies from none at all to various kinds of broadband wireless depending on the home. Let us know what you need and we will match you up with the right connection. If all you require is access for email, an old fashioned telephone dial up might be sufficient, but if you have heavy duty internet needs a number of our homes have satellite or cable broadband connections. In addition there are a couple of internet hot spots in nearby Gualala that you can use for the price of a cup of coffee (or a beer). Overall, our connections are generally not as high tech as you might find in the city, but we can probably arrange a suitable connection that will satisfy your basic needs while you are with us.
| All of our homes have television and DVD players that range from a simple television set in the living room to a dedicated media room. Here again let us know and we will help you find the arrangement that fits your needs. Some of our visitors want to "get away from it all" and be by themselves for a quiet relaxing stay away from the madding crowd. Others bring the crowd with them for a weekend of football. We understand that their needs differ. ( By the way, if you want to catch the latest Hollywood extravganza while you are with us, you should check out the Arena Theater in Point Arena - it is a refurbished classic small town main street "movie palace" from a by gone era that shows first run movies and classic films.) |
